Meet Tricia Tappen, Founder Of Beyond Aesthetics
When I opened Beyond Aesthetics in 2021, I knew I wanted to create something that felt different. I had my family’s support behind me, a lot of excitement, and, honestly, a little bit of that “let’s see where this goes” feeling. Four years later, I’m so grateful for what it has become.
Beyond Aesthetics has grown into a space where skincare, wellness, education, and connection all come together. I am very proud of the team I have assembled and for our amazing clients that have put their trust on us. We are here to help you feel comfortable in your skin, but also to make sure you feel heard, supported, and cared for along the way.
I have been a licensed Aesthetician since 2007, and after nearly two decades in this industry, I am still learning. Skin is complicated and our bodies are complicated and there is always something new to understand.
Continuing my education and staying current with advanced skincare treatments has always been important to me because I want the care we provide to be thoughtful, informed, and actually make a difference.
Over the years, my work has also expanded beyond traditional aesthetics. As a Reiki Master Teacher, I have become increasingly interested in the connection between the skin, the nervous system, and how we feel in our bodies. That is really where the heart of Beyond Aesthetics is today.
Yes, I want you to see results in your skin. But I also want you to have an experience that allows you to slow down, breathe, and take care of yourself. Sometimes that means corrective skincare, it means restorative self-care, and sometimes, you simply need an hour where you don’t have to take care of anyone but yourself.
I believe skincare should be personal. There is not one treatment, product, or routine that works for everyone. We take the time to understand where you are, what your skin needs, and what you’re hoping to achieve. At the end of the day it is not just about skin care, it is about feeling good, feeling confident in yourself and having a safe place where you can escape to.
